On Resurrection Sunday morning, March 31, Pastor Nick will begin a four-week sermon series through Nahum. Please make plans to join us as Nick highlights God’s justice, mercy, and patience in the midst of the dark times found in this Old Testament book. In this incredible account of history, we can see and be reminded of God’s constant activity and work, even when the world around us is falling apart. Israel serves as a reminder that God will always keep His promises, while Assyria serves as an example of how God despises sin. In Nahum, we see that mercy and justice doe not conflict with one another; our God has a Just Love for humanity.
Here is the plan of messages over the next four weeks…
Sunday, March 31 – Nahum 1:1-3 (“God’s Judgment and Love”)
Sunday, April 7 – Nahum 1 (“God’s Justice and Power”)
Sunday, April 14 – Nahum 2 (“God’s Punishment and Restoration”)
Sunday, April 21 – Nahum 3 (“God’s Demand and Our Response”)
Please spread the word and make plans to join us on Resurrection Sunday (and every Sunday):
9:00 – 9:15 a.m. = Prayer Gathering
9:30 – 10:25 a.m. = Family Groups (aka Sunday School)
