Family Groups
In Richland Baptist Church, we believe growing in our Christian faith best happens as a faith family by God’s grace. Deepening relationships and studying God’s Word together are essential parts of our growth as followers of Jesus Christ. That is why we value Bible study, prayer and fellowship through our family groups (aka Sunday School), which meet every Sunday morning from 9:30 – 10:25.
Our passion is the GOSPEL. Our church is our FAMILY. Our world is our MISSION.
After someone believes the GOSPEL and puts his or her faith in Jesus Christ, the next step is learning and growing together in the faith as a part of the church FAMILY. Family groups are such a great outlet for that growth to take place and move people along to be on MISSION with God.
While some people might think family groups are just for children, we are convinced that learning God’s Word and growing closer to Him is a lifelong process. Thus, we encourage everyone, no matter your age, background or knowledge, to plug in to a weekly family group. More than just “Sunday School,” family groups are intentional about growing in relationships with others for the sake of spiritual growth, accountability and encouragement. Our entire church uses the Gospel Project for our Bible study curriculum, so we not only can grow in discipleship together within our family groups but also within our families at home and in daily conversations with others, no matter the age.
